Today's Gothic Motto!

Remember a Story is a living thing it's <3 pulsates with blood,
It is a mystic metaphysical  being.
It shifts it's abstract body as it pleases,
So do not let it slip away,
Grab the idea it gives you and trasform it's soul.

At last the Story would be satisfied with itself,
You will know when you finish moving,
In the puppeteer's hands!

Gothika.

Voodoo Boodoo Dolls

Dedicated to my work colleague who took the time to tell me lots of creepy stories!I have asked permission to use the stories of experiences that people told me. The Names and location have been changed in order to protect the people in the story.

Simon who was nineteen got a part-time job as a painter and plumber to refurbish a beautiful villa with big balconies. The owner had asked him to see and make a price for all the work that had to be done to her villa. She was an old lady who was in her 70's.  She was old but was still young at heart. She joked and wore jeans. Her eyes where ice grey, very uncommon. He thought about what she said in her phone call. She said she had one daughter but she lived in Alaska, so he could go to work whenever he wanted as she lived alone. He tried to imagine the younger version of her, her daughter. The old lady seemed to have had a beautiful face when she was young so he thought her daughter would be very attractive, from a young man's point of view. The woman took him round the huge villa the first floor was a big ballroom, an en suite and a back garden. The back garden had a secret hidden entrance to the main bedroom on the first floor and escape ladder that had plants and cacti on it. It was used as an extension of the balcony ledge that was crammed full of small plants.

The view from the back reminded Simon of a painting that had caught his eye, as every floor had Victorian all round balconies white and champagne although flaky faded paint left a lot to desire. He had seen that painting on a wall of a very sinister Antique Pawn Shop in a very old road in Valletta. He had felt fascinated although he did not know the reason he felt absorbed by it. Without knowing it he had gone inside the shop and stared at it. Every small brush stroke meant a world to him. It depicted an old time scene of a noble young woman of barely twenty years. Looking out from the balcony as if saying farewell to her loved one maybe her beloved sailor husband. Her eyes were sad and at the same time filled with hope and felicity.

His thoughts went back to the work he had to do he asked her if she would like to make a few changes to the balconies. He drew a sketch from some thought that had originated from that painting and she looked wondrously at it. She told him that that was exactly how it looked like when her mother had bee alive, she used to repaint it like that using those exact colors. The frame unpainted wood and the middle old rose and the outside champagne. She was so happy to see the sketch she remembered her mother and although in disbelief accepted. She asked him where he had seen that or from where had the thought come to him. After taking some time to think about it, he decided to answer that h had seen a similar balcony in a painting. She stared at thin air for a moment than she asked him where he had seen such painting. He told her about the Pawn Antique Shop and she told him that that was her mother's painting her great great grandmother was the person portrayed in it, it was dated 1912 like the Titanic disaster year. That figured the lace dress with long neck collar maid of delicate lace. She had a tear drop in her eye. She fell silent, took a few minutes and a breathe of relief. She told him to take a short tea break and took him to the coffee table and made some tea. While  sipping some sweet tea she told him a sad story that was at the same time an answer to all his puzzling thoughts about the story of the painting.

That woman was her great great grand mama the young bride of a renowned Captain Finney who was thirteen years her senior but love made the forget the age gap. They were under a spell of love. They played cricket and spent long hours in the sun in their back garden on deck chairs sipping iced tea. The summer weather was very nice, the soft breeze from the nearby sea and warm days where the best to sit on the swing bench they had. The days where filled with happy laughter and small children's chuckles. Until the day they sent for him to go to the sea again...The two lovers where  devastated they had not been separated for six years and she thought of the chance that, that day would come. She did not know what to do so he thought and had an idea to paint her in her favorite frock looking out to say bye to him and he told the finest artist at the time to paint her. He painted every day until the day arrived so he would take it with him in his cabin for the long journey. He left and she said good bye this time for real. A day passed and there was a storm the sea level went up and she was very worried for her love. A telegram arrived at Four o'clock that the ship had sunk and the items including the painting had washed to shore. From that day she wore green as he had told was his wish. He told her that if he had to pass to a better life if he had a chance to see her again he did not want to see her wearing black. Although her heart was now as black as coal as her heart  was broken as her love was missing. For her her husband had died.  She was so devastated that she did not eat for more than a month. She drank only milk and suffered a depression. She made some courage because of the children. She never married again although she had a lot of admirers and marriage proposals. Her daughter married and her dated she felt everything was alright and all things sorted out everyone was happy everyone had found a purpose in  his life. One day she went to take a relaxing bath  as she suddenly felt very tired she dosed off  in the bath and died in her sleep with a smile on her face. Maybe her lover had come to meet with her again and took her with him? Mysteriously enough both lovers died in the water. Her daughter's love story wasn't a very  long and healthy one either it ended in three years, she separated him with three children to live the best she could and give her kids a good future. The son on the other hand married after six months and had a very strong relationship. It was his daughter that had the owner's grandma and after she had her mother. One day the owner's father fell sick he had a chronic illness that was making him become fully paralyzed and her mother had to pawn the painting although very valuable to her, for the doctors fees, but never returned to buy it back.

She asked him if he could buy it back for her. He accepted and took her money, she told him to go that evening. He went and found it and when he asked the owner he told him it was not for sale.  For more than fifty years he felt obliged to keep it. Simon told him that the daughter of the original owner had sent him to buy it back, than he was happy to give it to him. He said he was waiting for a family member to go for it as it was a family heirloom. He said lots of antique collectors had asked about it. They had said the painting had a captivating power on them they could not resist looking at it and not making an offer. One of them in especially had been going to see it  every week as if to say hi to it two or three times a week the least. He was an old noble man his name was Count De Maltese he had even left a business card and an open check sighed so the owner could put any sum of money he wanted for it he talked millions in case he changed his mind or if no one ever showed up. The reason he said was that he was a relative of the signed artist who had painted it. The last 20 years he sent his butler to ask if he had made up his mind. He passed away and his relatives took the Palazzo Corto Maltese so they started showing up as they said the palace was the rightful place to hang it not in some small old dusty shop. They where nothing like the Count they had an arrogant and selfish behavior. They sometimes even attacked him for being a cripple. The owner had lots of large sums of money the avid  collector would offer but the owner always told them it was a great offer of money but could not give it to them as it had a greater value,a sentimental one. It sometimes seemed happy and sometimes sad. Now when he looked at it it almost looked as if it had an evil glare in her eyes.

My Collection of Gothic Stories

The Collection of Stories I made were written since I was 9 years, all trough my teenage years and I still have more to come. I always confided in my writtings I wrote my night terrors as with the growing of the Medium gift thats unfortunatley some of the collateral damage my son and niece are passing through it now. I started to like the horrors  I saw  not to get scared I meditated and saw a red dragon and a black one fighting Ying Yang if you prefer when I was some 7 years and my best buddies were karate going boys so I always used to ask them for the newest teachings they had in this they were quite serious and asked me what I saw as all of them saw a different life force or animal spirit. I was applauded as some didnt see anything and only saw after a few weeks trying.I was always at home in most of my childhood thats thanks to a toxic neighbor and smother of a very not bestfriend of mine. They made my life hell since I was about 7 yrs old with lies and adding to the stories making their own stories bigger with more bad energy! As everyone knows Karma is a Bi7ch like a boomerang!I left fate to take them to their final plunge :9 Imagine I was 12 years old doing my O'levels including Oxford. She was there.Fake chatted with me showing off how many friends she had (mostly fake obviously)her obviously not saying I had been the fool of her dark twisted mind a few years before that day!!!!I did everything I could not to stay with them Barbies no wonder she used to play at the time more than(300€)Atari Barbie played alone she never let me play just once like 5 minutes (even if I didnt like that and prefered ninja turtles (she had a ninja turtle camera the one that Mikey is in the pic remember those lol a few years ago I took my son and niece and there were both Mikey and Donny and I took one alone and with them and a 3D special effects like we are in a movie!!!!one Karma fate )she always used to flaunt everything in my face sometimes saying it was great being just one kid I had my brother so she tried saying she had all she wanted just like that with a click of her fingers) They followed on my same bus no matter what I did she popped there!!!Even if it was full up they went up. A seat cleared right next to me and an African guy made a sign for me to sit I asked her friend then an old lady they both said no.I sat eyes down but heared them giggle and whispering I didnt want to care about them (she used to wear like Cher with seetrough naked looking sheer for godssake)this very shy man told me that he wanted someone to sit as the driver was driving so fast and someone had fallen on the bus I thanked him and blushed froze as at the time I was abnormaly shy and had my first real boyfriend at 19!!!!Little is to say they arrived before me even if they said they will go eat together in Valletta or something (flaunting again)She told her toxic smother I was xrating it with the guy that politely moved so I can sit!!!!Oil goes up in the water That fateful day she told the nun that I used to go to as a kids group that I could go in costume the nun nodded as I did and told my mom to help as if that  bully made the nun lie I would make an example of the NUN I had my own version of the movie!I was greeted by a nun saying I couldnt go in like that and asked me if it was a joke I said no that the nun and I named her told me she came telling me to go change or I am not allowed in the house of god or something like that I told her to keep this in mind that that girl I obviously named her was trouble and made a nun lie imagine what she could do I told her to keep the house of god for herself and that I wasent needing it as the place is in your heart not made of stone and lies.I went home told my mom and she was not happy I told her that that was the last strand as they used to invent when I went there and on outings so I was away from them (I still passed with flying colors got awarded a book as first in religion She didnt she was already going out with boys as her mother told her as they were an old couple she will die before seeing a grandchild lololololol! She was pregnant at 14 yrs lol karma baby;)  )I met The NUN once more when I was 27 yrs old she was a not very well kept old woman and she recognized me she was with two other nuns and I was a securiy officer with a uniform she said she called for me and mom didnt tell me I told her I didnt want to talk to her she was stunned medusa style I told her I passed even the O'levels and Oxford but am a Buddhist and can Meditate also a Psychic Medium and helped lots of people worldwide as God had a gift only for me to share. Someone told me she had a hard time I said so did I and she gave power to a bully that had crushed most of my childhood (as mom used to believe her mom and punished me every weekend) so by doing so the NUN was a bully herself and I didnt speak to her anymore I told them I had a lot of work to do and went back to check the entrance. Karma Karma strikes again my fateful one.... like Action packed some a bit funny at times,  some dark humor with monsters aliens creatures and paranormal entities one big happy family  \(@u@)/. . .
The other paranormal stories are retold for people who where never believed and made fun of by the ones most close to their <3 leaving a void part of them and their being! A few of them are dead today and gone to a better life than us Mere Mortals so I sometimes find myself haunted by the promise I made to them to retell their story...I also filmed some on youtube :)  I met people from all backgrounds and cultures while out and about even at work sometimes while watching Victorian Gardens and in Hospitals I also used to work as a guard s a body :) guard of freshly dressed and makeup ready corpses for them to arrive safely to the Morgue!!These great stories took me to a journey trough their eyes as they the eye witnesses tell me their accounts of amazing totally extra experiances they take you like they did to me to a lot of interesting and most importantly ghost infested places otherwise closed to people some today just rubble and fregments of a life past ,They are the real hosts I am only the writer. Some details were changed to protected identities the names, parts of the stories that are too discriptive of places have been changed.I asked for their permission to use some fragments of their stories with a little twist here and their to add some flavour some suspense. My notes are mostly kept in my succulent brain its great having photograpic memory and recalling nightdreams walks in parallel realms! (As thanks to a fake friend 'fellow writers take care as some of my friends also passed trough similar things they told me on facebook writer forums' She cunningly asked for my life's work saying she will just read them and that she wanted them all!!! She actually took a few books everytime she used to come to my house. She said she liked them also said she will make a notebook with what I wrote and give mine and also the notebook back my manuscripsts never came back just some three pages and 'her' writing that she cunningly change all passion and meaning especially in 'My love letters' she changed the entire plot in 'my' stories and evidently liked them sooo much she that she never gave them back and called me a thief in PUBLIC said I wish she died aswell!I had to get the police as she also tried to physicaly harm me.)I always asked them permision if I could publish the stories. Most actually asked me to before I asked as they feel comfortable enough to know maybe YOU who is reading this passage believes them.

Dedicated to my son born with my same abilities he trusts me the most as sometimes he sees what I see and sometimes I see orbs and he sees figures and vice versa. My dear mom also sensitive that helped me with some punctuation and rewording my forever skeptic and doubting my psychic abilities Dad and Bro and anyone who told me their stories or helped to add to my ongoing story collection.

Halloween 1hr Project Horrific Money Box!

Halloween Horrific Money Box!
3D Severed Head Money box Project!

This is a project dedicate to my loving son Faiz who is a fan of Shaun the Sheep and Barney. The pictures are from the money box I created for my favorite neighbor Scooby Doo and Ben 10 Fan Damien.

First draw a picture of a monster like Frankenstein or The Mummy or Swamp Thing a Skeleton any creature you like! You can start creating! The fun of it is they can be stacked into a totem of horrific faces.

(i) You will need:

  1. A few sheets of paper
  2. A pen or pencil
  3. A multi use kitchen towel high absorbent roll(as it dries quickly and leaves your hands clean Warning! remember news paper ink is poisonous)
  4. An adhesive glue stick (not the runny type as it is pretty messy and it will not stick in the final touch)
  5. A masking paper tape
  6. A double edge tape or craft glue something that sticks cotton to tissue paper
  7. A permanent marker blue as it will come pink, light blue and  purple when water is on it
  8. A neon color Yellow,orange or green
  9. A bottle of PVA glue or 10 tablespoons flour and 1/2 cup water you need it not very thick
  10. A bag of cheap cotton balls.
  11. A pair of rounded scissors.
  12. A butter knife with a plastic handle (try to see if there is one you do not use to eat with otherwise ask someone to clean it with a stainless steel scrawler as plastic residue will be left on the tip)or a craft knife.(Important if you are young always ask an adult to help you.)
  13. A used coffee, powder milk or cereal food container tin with a plastic lid (as you need to make the money slot.)

(i)This is the type of tin I am talking about!

This is a step by step guide
A How To.
For beginners!

(i)Things you need
 "('o')"

Warning!Double check that no one has used it for other things eg.washing powder or other dangerous products that can be poisonous if you touch them and touch your eyes or mouth or if you want to store items like candy in it.

(i)Take some time and Check some pictures if you like on the internet to get an idea of the monster you want to create (do not try to make it very complicated as it will be a time waster and you will get stuck! Try to use doodles to make it quick and easy)

(i)A simple 2 minute sketch you will make into a 3D sculpture!

 This is step one ...

You simply roll the tape no need to over lap the tape.
The main point is that the tin will be a non slippery surface  otherwise the paper will not stick with the glue.

This is step two ...

Just cut straight shreds of kitchen tissue papers with your hand or with safe rounded scissors and separate in two if using a two ply tissue and stick with the adhesive horizontally than next layer vertically so they come strong this will dry quickly as the pores of the towel will help stick to the other tissue. Make two layers as later you have to add some layers it's enough.

This is step three ...
Now you have to imagine the face and draw it with a pencil on the dry tissue. No need to take care if some tissue will move as you will fix this later. Now is the time to put some muscle tissue in your zombie head or monster create the features you want. Now just stick a bit of double edge tape or some other glue, like craft glue to stick cotton to tissue.
Draw the doodle on the tissue and imagine where the eyebrows, falling eye balls, nose or crooked mouth are like this picture showing a hollow eyes skeleton similar to the face painting African tribes used to wear. Stick another layer on top of the cotton pieces you have stuck to the doodle the nose arch for eg.and press it with your fingers if you want add another layer of cotton and close it under the tissue make 2 or 3 layers more all around the finished head.

(i)This image can help a bit as to see the effect you need to make with the cotton.

(i)See the 3D profile it's Alive!

This is step four...

Warning! You need help from a steady hand adult with this task.It is really dangerous.

First you have to calculate the middle of the lid try to see the small bump in the middle here the form was cut if you cannot SEE IT USE A RULER!Now you have to use a permanent marker the thin line tip one and calculate the size. I used a 2 inch long and 4 mm wide line as I figured the largest coins will fit and a banknote will pass trough adjust as needed.Use a plastic handle butter knife or a craft knife open the blade a bit more as to take care that the plastic is not near the fire later when you use the small gas burner.
After you prepare the knife switch on the small gas burner on low flame.(I leave the tip of the knife for 30 seconds and perforate and repeat as necessary do not leave it a lot of time in the fire or else the lid will burn)

(i)Do not let it get cold and try to press as it may result in a split unusable lid.
Always tell someone to clean the craft knife as it will slip if you use it again for another craft.

Warning Do not try to touch the knife when it is burning or touch the fire.

This is step five . . .

Use the permanent marker draw the back of the head for now
Just draw and scribble away skulls cross bones pumpkins and bats your choice is as good as it gets.

(i) I used a table spoon of coffee and 2 table spoons of water mixed it very well (check it does not have milk or sugar as it will ruin the project)
to achieve a golden color I dabbed a cotton ball and dabbed the back of the skull with it.You can use a tea bag it can be used to create an old parchment effect  great for mummy bandages!

Let it dry a bit.

(i)This is the other side this is one creepy pumpkin!

 This is step six . . .

Finally the last steps this is the time to make the face!
Draw it with the permanent marker you chose.I used a navy blue one with the final touch it came pink and purple.
Pay great attention to the contours you created.
I wanted the teeth lines to be a bit more  deep so I created the illusion that the lines have a shadow so I made the lines and after I finished the project I repeated the lines.

Use a neon acrilic paint so it does not dissolve with water.

Let everything dry 10 minutes will be enough

(i)This is the side see the prominence in the features that is 3D!

The Final Step is to use the PVA glue  or mixture of flour and water (see top) and use a paint brush make it soggy wet and it's ready!

Let it dry!

Just retouch some colors to make them deep and you're done!

I hope you enjoyed this project!
